Important Disclaimer: Dentivo is a technology platform that provides appointment booking infrastructure to dental clinics. We are not a dental service provider. We do not employ dentists, provide dental advice, or bear any responsibility for the clinical services, diagnoses, treatments, or conduct of any clinic listed on this platform. By using this platform, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Dentivo (the "Platform"), whether as a clinic admin or as a patient making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Platform Description
Dentivo provides software-as-a-service tools that enable dental clinics to publish a public booking page and manage appointments. Dentivo acts solely as a technology intermediary. The Platform does not provide dental care, medical advice, or healthcare services of any kind.
3. Clinic Accounts
Dental clinics that register on Dentivo ("Clinic Admins") are independent businesses solely responsible for the accuracy of information they publish on their booking pages, including services, pricing, working hours, and doctor profiles. Clinics are responsible for confirming, managing, and honouring appointments booked through the Platform. Clinics must comply with all applicable laws including healthcare regulations, data protection laws, and consumer protection legislation in their jurisdiction. Dentivo reserves the right to suspend or terminate clinic accounts that violate these terms or engage in deceptive, harmful, or illegal conduct.
4. Patient Bookings
Patients who submit appointment requests through Dentivo-powered pages ("Patients") are submitting a request directly to the respective clinic. A booking request does not constitute a confirmed appointment until the clinic acknowledges it. Dentivo does not guarantee that a clinic will confirm, honour, or fulfil any appointment. Patients should verify appointment details directly with the clinic. Dentivo is not responsible for missed, cancelled, or unsatisfactory appointments.
5. No Medical Responsibility
Dentivo is not a healthcare provider and nothing on this Platform constitutes medical advice. We make no representations regarding the qualifications, expertise, or suitability of any clinic or dentist listed on the Platform. Patients use clinics at their own risk and should independently verify the credentials and suitability of any healthcare provider before seeking treatment.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dentivo shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: (a) the use or inability to use the Platform; (b) any dental treatment, advice, or services provided or not provided by any clinic; (c) unauthorised access to or alteration of your data; (d) any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in clinic-provided content. Our total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount paid by the clinic for use of the Platform in the month preceding the claim.
7. Intellectual Property
The Dentivo platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Dentivo. Clinics retain ownership of content they upload (logos, photos, descriptions). By uploading content, clinics grant Dentivo a non-exclusive licence to display that content on their booking page.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Platform to publish false or misleading information about dental services or qualifications, collect patient data for purposes other than appointment management, attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the Platform's security, or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
9. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate with third-party services such as Google Maps and WhatsApp. Use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Dentivo is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
10. Modifications
Dentivo reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Clinic admins will be notified of material changes via the dashboard. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.
